Don't Wait for all your Wants to Come

There are times in life when you'll find that people, no matter how good you treat them, will use you to vent on. If you're a good friend you'll let them do that when they need to because at least they're letting it all out. Then you give them a big hug and tell'em everything is gonna be alright. If they're wise they'll know that those words are true and that things do have there ups and downs and that's just how it is. There are also times in life when you'll meet those people that don't think that those single moments of laughter and smiles aren't worth seeking for if they're just gonna disappear. That those memories aren't worth making because they'll only make you sad when it's your time to pass. So they'll shut out all the emotions like happiness, caring for another, loving another, and everything in between. But if we do have to leave this world soon, i want my legacy to be filled with love. i want my memories to be of the best times in life, the high points, and all those cloud nine moments. i want to make living through all of the worst times worth it. That's something i don't plan on waiting for Along the Way... i'm starting now!

Falling to Pieces

Their are those times in life when the road gets rough and bumpy. From your first heart break to the death of someone close to you. God tends to throw a lot of obstacles at us that always seem to hit us right where it hurts the most. Those obstacles can take from us and give to us. They take what we hold dearest away so we'll have nothing to break our fall. They give to us as much heart ache as you could ever receive. God throws these obstacles in our way to see what we'll do. He wants to know if we'll break down and give up all hope or fight till our last deep breath for the hope we're clinging to. Hope that everything is gonna turn out all right. Maybe if we're tough enough to make it through this sea of pain the water won't taste so bitter. He'll tear and rip out all the things you brace yourself with until it seems that everything is falling to pieces and then just watch. Waiting for you to give up or get up. So when the rest of the world seems like it's crashing down around you, will you fall with it? That is a question nobody every really thinks of at the time when they hurt the most. But now that you've read this you might keep it in mind next time your world is falling to pieces. God doesn't want to see us fail, he just likes to watch us overcome the pain we feel in our chest. So don't fall with the pieces of your broken heart. Pick them up and put it back together and get ready for the next go round. Anybody can find that place in their soul that says don't stop hoping. And if you haven't found it yet, trust me, you'll find it Along the Way...

Love

You may see old couples today that still hold hands, share kisses, and hold each other like letting go may separate them forever. When you see them, depending on the type of person you are, you'll think to yourself "i wish i had that." It is a beautiful and powerful thing if two people stay together their whole lives. Through all the worst times and all the best times, the fights and the heart melting moments, and the unconditional love that is spoken and understood just by the look in their eyes, they'll realize that they are exactly where they want to be. It doesn't matter how bad his or her day was, because when they come home to the loving embrace of one another it's still enough to make them smile. And it doesn't matter how unbelievably amazing his or her day was, because it isn't ever going to be breathtaking until they're sharing that moment together. i refuse to express my feelings on this just because i don't know who is reading this. Hopefully though, when you see this you'll find it to be something you want. An everlasting love and the all knowingness that that special someone will always be there with you. Maybe it's something we'll all find Along the Way...

Growing up in a Small Town

When you live in a small town you'll notice that there isn't a whole lot of opportunity. Some kids will just take it cause they have to or settle for it would be a better choice of words. They'll tell their parents how bored they are and complain every second of the day. Then there are those kids who won't settle for anything less than what their chasing. Dreams that shape their personalities into "can do" attitudes and two hands filled with wants that they're reaching out for. And it doesn't matter which type of kid you are, because either way if you end up leaving you'll be missing that place you called home and wishing you could relive every heart throbbing moment that made you the person you are. People say you should live life without regrets, but when it all comes down to the last day at school, the day of your retirement, or the day you draw your last breath in this world, everybody looks back and wants a second chance for some reason or another. So i try to do right with this one shot i got and i've made a lot of mistakes on my path. i'm taking those mistakes and i'm trying not to make them twice. That's all we can do. It is the human condition and nobody is perfect. i know i'm already wishing for that second chance and i'm only 17 years old. Just one of my opinions i've gained. Maybe it'll change Along the Way...
