A Thought

What is a thought? An opinion, or maybe a feeling? Perhaps even an accusation against a subject. It just might be your accusation of a point in reality. A point such as slavery, grandma's cookies or are you a republican or a democrat. Slavery is a bad thing, grandma's cookies are delicious, democrats are right and republicans ruined the ozone are all accusations that are judged upon everyday. Accusations are nothing more than opinions and feelings towards a situation. Whether those opinions and feelings are right or wrong is to be judged only by others' accusations. There is a right and there is a wrong but defining them is not up man kind for we are corrupt. We merely have to see hurt and see happiness to know the difference which are nothing more than reactions to the accusations and actions we take. That's all we have to go off of do to our corruption. And it is a hard line to read for our naive and narrow vision. The questions that remain at the end of the day are, if you are morally correct will you still stand strong in your shoes to fight for what you believe in and not sink to the beliefs of the sea of people around you, or if you truly are wrong can you admit it and seek change? Along the Way... yeah you might find those rights and wrongs, but the truth is we'll never really know what's right and what's wrong! Unless through our blurred eyes we finally one day see what causes tears and what causes a smile. And sometimes even that can lie!

Grownups

Looking back now i see that all the lectures that i thought were just a load of crap and not worth listening to, are helping me from time to time. i think that while you're growing up and think you can take on the world you don't know when it's time to listen. i had a teacher back in 7th and 8th grade that always handled things the right way. She was hard on me when she needed to be and knew how to get the best out of me. It seemed at the time to me as nothing more than another nagging teacher but now i realize that it was just what i needed. And today while i'm looking back i notice that she was a big factor in molding me into who i am now. From that i have learned to listen. It is a virtue that will make the biggest of differences in the long run. So next time you have someone all up in your face and trying to give you direction, just know there giving you a little guidance because they do care about where you end up Along the Way...

Patches

Everybody has times when things couldn't seem worse. Couples, parents and their children, friends and just general relationships with people are all vulnerable and unfortunately are also easy to break. You may get into a lot of fights yeah, nothing is perfect and that's understandable. But when the down times are continuous and repeating themselves it's hard to keep up the fight of patching the holes, gaps and cracks. Sometimes you need to let a broken heart be broken. Sometimes a person just needs to feel what it is they're trying to patch. Let it bleed for a while and let the hurt get to you. Let tears fall and maybe when that's all over and the flood waters clear their sight will be clear and they'll be okay. There comes a point when there is just too many pieces to be patching anymore. You have to find the line between yes i can patch this and no this needs to hurt a little. People may give you advice on your personal situation but this is just one of those things that you won't take advice for. Nobody does. i learned the hard way and now there's so many pieces and so much duct tape wrapped around them that i'm too scared to cry anymore. But i know now that no one is impenetrable to hurt. Everyone needs a release Along the Way...

Pain and Bliss

Pain is everywhere in this world and has different faces. But through all it's masks it still can't hide itself. From something as small as losing your first football game to something as big as burying a loved one. Emotions can run wild during such times causing you to lash out and say things that are just better left unsaid or do things that are better left undone. It's good that you feel emotion so don't run away from it. Just see the bigger picture and realize that there are easier paths to take. You'll find that there's always someone there for you as a shoulder to cry on when the weight of your burdens seem to get to you. So cry, don't think it to be weak. Let go the cap to your shaken up bottle and you'll find the bliss in life once the waters clear. You'll see that amongst all the pain there are shining stars in the dark space we find our selves sitting in sometimes. Just know there is serenity, there is bliss, if you'll let yourself see it Along the Way...
